Cannabis Now, a consumer-based cannabis magazine, founded in 2010 and based in California, was announced to be available in newsstands at 50 airports in the U.S. and Canada.
The bi-monthly magazine, under a deal with Hudson News, says that it marks the first time a marijuana publication will be distributed nationally and that it is moving marijuana further into the mainstream and giving businesses a way to reach more patients and marijuana users.
According to Eugenio Garcia, the magazine’s publisher; this is the final step in acknowledging that cannabis has become acceptable to the mainstream community.
At present, Cannabis Now can be purchased in Apple ITunes Store, Barnes and Noble, various dispensaries and other marijuana-related businesses.
